Nexus Packaging are one of Europe’s leading designers and suppliers of United Nations (UN) approved packaging for both freestanding and combination packs.

With over 30 years of experience in the industry, we specialise in developing, testing and certifying packaging for clients across the continent.

We have been developing UN approved packaging since the early days of the regulations being introduced and since then we have established a deep understanding of the regulatory requirements for packaging being transported by air, sea, road and rail. With this knowledge we can assist you in ensuring your dangerous goods’ packaging meets the performance standards set out in chapter 6.1 of the UN model regulations.

Nexus Packaging Design work with United Nation testing bodies across the UK and Europe to assess the physical and chemical performance of packaging for dangerous goods and can successfully identify weak spots which could hinder achieving UN certification.

Throughout the UN certification process we offer detailed guidance and updates to help you understand the complex testing criteria where the likes of permeability tests, crush tests, temperature performance test and drop tests are carried out to ensure your packaging exceeds the requirements for UN certification.
